A Much Needed Family Day!!!

This last weekend was the first Saturday that we had NOTHING that needed to be done in a very long time. We have been so busy with packing, moving, new house and then the building that is to come that our family time has unfortunately been limited. We have no time just the three of us anymore...not even in the evenings because we don't live in our own place right now. I am so grateful for our family (Mark's parents) and the sacrifice they have made to allow us to live here but I would be lying through my teeth if I said that I didn't horribly miss my little family of three and OUR time together. And when we move into our new home...we will be a family of four. It just hit me that our time as a threesome has come to and end and now I am crying...big suprise...hormones! But it is very sad for this momma to realize that and very exciting as well to start our new phase of life.

Anyway...the point of this post was to tell of our wonderful family day. Tyce LOVES airplanes and helicoptors. He can't get enough...so, we took him to the Hill Air Force Museum here in Roy. We drive past nearly every day but in 8 years...we have never been. Tyce loved it. He was totally into it and pointed out everything. When we found a really BIG plane...he would say "woah, that big airplane...that's daddy's airplane"! And a small one was "that's Tyce's airplane!" So sweet!

After our outing to the museum, we went a got a treat...a frazil (like a mister misty that dairy queen has). They are so good and it was a hot day! We loved our time as a family and I hope we can find more time this summer for days like that!
